enlarge 144KB, 800x600 42 Karnak Smiting Scene This scene is used by everyone, which is why I have no idea who is pictured giving the thrashing here. Basically the pharoah shows his dominance by holding many enemy types by the hair and beating them with a club. You will see this scene in many, many photos while viewing the Egypt pictures. So, be prepared.

enlarge 95KB, 600x800 51 Karnak Me, Dannette, and I look really small. This place is huge and truly overwhelming. Forgive the lack of accurate descriptions in the Karnak section photos. Karnak was a holy place for the Ancient Egyptians and therefore every pharoah, priest, etc. wanted to build/erect a temple/obelisk/statue/etc. here. Oh, did I say this place is huge... and amazing?

Hey, if anyone from the tour has an idea of what the many untitled/undescribed or even titled/described images are please enter a comment. I can use all the help I can get.
